Arid Bilge is a central vacuum system that automatically and effortlessly maintains bilge compartments throughout the vessel 100% dusty dry.
Series 2 is an automatic residual-bilge-water removal system with two or three independently controlled intake ports (zones). Choose standard solenoid valves or Premium Intake Valves. The current unit accepts 12 or 24 volt DC power.
Should I choose two zones or three?
Count the separate low points where water collects, not just the length of your boat. Plan a pickup for each wet area you need to serve. If the layout needs more than three zones, compare the Arid system range or ask Arid to review your wet-area layout before ordering.
What should I check before installation?
The central unit must stay upright and out of the wet bilge; it is not waterproof. Check mounting space, intake tubing, discharge routing and power against the correct manual. For the indicator-LED model, each finished intake line must be 20–50 feet long; keep excess tubing coiled rather than cutting it below the minimum.
Does Series 2 replace my bilge pump?
No. Keep conventional bilge pumps and alarms operational. Series 2 addresses residual water at connected pickup locations, not emergency flooding. Read why bilge pumps can leave water behind and how Arid collects and discharges that water.
A drier bilge reduces one source of onboard moisture and can make new wet trails easier to notice. It does not repair leaks, remove existing contamination, or guarantee freedom from odor, mold or corrosion. Continue routine inspection, cleaning and ventilation.

Pickups
There are 3 pickup styles available for the Series 2.
All pickup styles have filter pads underneath which prevent debris from transiting into the intake tubing.
